On the second Friday of October, over 2000 people including the highest-ranking representatives in the maritime industry from all across Western Europe and Poland along with cooperating firms and enterprises traditionally participate in the annual Duck Metting (11th – 12th October 2018). An event first organized in Gdansk in the year 2000 and later in Gdynia from the year 2009. Participants are comprised of eminent members of the state, regional and municipal authorities. Such a large and distinguished congregation emphasizes the significance of this meeting where friends, co-workers and competitors share tables, discuss business, enjoy a pleasant atmosphere and savour good food.
