Senior Sales Manager Hungary (m/f)

LOTUS Containers is an owner-run group of companies operating in the sectors of trading and leasing new and used containers internationally. Since its foundation in 2008, the business group has grown steadily. The headquarters are located in Egestorf, near Hamburg, and further offices are located in São Paulo (Brazil), Valparaiso (Chile), Manzanillo (México), Shanghai (China), Ningbo (China), Fremantle (Australia), Gdynia (Poland) and Miami (USA).

With a view to expanding our current sales team, we are looking for several full-time, regional Senior Sales Managers (m/f) to support our existing team as soon as possible:

Your duties

  • acquisition of new customers and care of existing customers
  • completion and organisation of the entire customer process, from customer acquisition, service provision to after-sales service, including ongoing customer care
  • ‘ear around the market’: ensuring communication of customer and market requirements to the company and proactively offering relevant services
  • cooperation in the development and rollout of sales strategies and concepts within the overarching company strategy
  • establishment, support and management of the company sales team
  • ‘tuned into the market’: ensuring customer and market requirements passed on to the company and proactively offering relevant services
  • fulfilment of a mentoring function in the successful qualification and training of young sales managers.

Your profile

  • at least three years’ professional experience in the sales sector, ideally in the container industry or logistics and with an existing network within the sector
  • strong written and spoken communication skills
  • experience in the establishment and management of sales teams
  • flexibility and willingness to travel
  • able to work independently, service-oriented, team player and resistant to stress - good command of English – spoken and written, knowledge of German language would be an additional advantage 
  • well experienced in use of current MS Office applications and IT-based sales tools

  • elastyczność i gotowość do podróży

Full-time Operations Manager Europe (m/f)

To reinforce our operations teams in Germany we are looking for a full-time Operations Manager Europe (m/f) to start with us as soon as possible:

Your duties

  • Customer service as part of internal sales processing
  • Carrying out management tasks in the area of container sales/container leasing/depot management
  • Carrying out container clearance; checking and monitoring daily container movements and container inventories
  • Planning and coordinating national and international transports
  • Verifying monthly depot invoices and appropriately recording them in the enterprise resource planning (ERP) system
  • Active maintenance of our client database
  • Preparing a monthly report on the monitoring and control of KPIs in the ERP system

Your profile

  • Vocational education in business studies
  • Multiple years of professional experience in the area of sales support, ideally in a medium-sized international company
  • Experience in the area of national and international freight forwarding and customs clearance
  • Service-oriented and a good communicator
  • Independent, structured approach to work, effective team player and able to cope with stress
  • Very good knowledge of both written and spoken English
  • Experienced user of typical MS Office applications
